Our goal is to step into the shoes of the filmmakers and actors who bring stories to life and to do so in a way that respects and celebrates the art form. To start this journey, we need to understand the foundation of storytelling in film: the standard movie arc. While there are countless ways to tell a story on screen, specific patterns and beats create the rhythm of a classic narrative. From establishing the main character and setting to delivering a satisfying resolution, the standard arc gives us a reliable framework to guide our improvisation.
